Meg Cappel is a storyteller and children’s book author whose work celebrates family, community, and tradition. A mother of three and former advertising executive, she believes stories preserve memories, share values, and connect generations. Her debut picture book, inspired by her hometown’s Murphysboro Apple Festival™, publishes in September 2026. The book led to Tell Me About YOUR Apple Festival, an interview series capturing the stories and traditions behind the beloved festival.
