Meg Cappel is a former advertising executive turned children’s author and mother of three young children. Inspired by a bedtime conversation with her daughter, she wrote her first children’s book based on her hometown’s Murphysboro Apple Festival™. Her debut title, rooted in family, community and tradition, will launch in September 2026.
